Thank you to everyone who participated in Acorn Paper Products 2013 Acorn Holiday Challenge. The 2013 Acorn Holiday Challenge was a phenomenal success this holiday season thanks to the Acorn Paper Sales Team, our customers and the Los Angeles community.
It all started with the challenge. Acorn Paper Products CEO, David Weissberg challenged Acorn employees, packaging customers and the local community to collect 400 pounds (4 large boxes) of canned food to benefit the LA Regional Food Bank and to fill at least 10 boxes of toys to donate to Cedars Sinai’s Maxine Dunitz Children’s Hospital. The Acorn Paper Products Sales team would distribute special Acorn Holiday Challenge custom packagingboxes to everyone who wanted to participate. The Acorn Paper Products customers who donated either the most food or toys in Acorn Holiday Challenge boxes would receive a free lunch for up to 40 people catered by Factor’s Deli.
The Acorn Paper Products sales team distributed over 100 Acorn Holiday Challenge custom packaging boxes to their customers to collect the food and toys. As a result of everyone’s hard work, Acorn Paper Products exceeded their goal and collected 676 pounds of food on behalf of the LA Regional Food Bank and 16 large boxes of toys to benefit the pediatric patients at Cedars Sinai’s Maxine Dunitz Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
C.D Container provided the most boxes of canned food and Jakks Pacific provided 10 boxes of toys. Both C.D. Container and Jakks Pacific will receive a lunch catered for up to 40 people from Factor’s Deli.
